The Stone Bench
Created by the Carving Studio in
West Rutland, VT
The hand carved bench was dedicated at Pine Hill Park’s Trailhead on October 15th, 2010.
The functional sculpture was created by area teens from the Carving Studio & Scupture Center under the direction of instructor Nora Valdez. The Stone Bench Project helps reconnect young people with a vanishing part of the region’s cultural heritage.
